Having dissection trays available to my students to use in the STEM Lab will aid in our ability to complete several dissections throughout the year that will compliment their learning in the classroom. With the help of a local community member, we are excited to offer several dissection labs to our 4th-6th grade students this year. We are currently working to secure the supplies we will need for this year's labs. Having these dissection trays as part of our lab's equipment will mean that they will be able to be reused for the many activities and grade levels that will be participating. Some of the labs we have planned include: the dissection of frogs, cow eyes, and sheep brain.
These trays are desperately needed for our programs success!
Providing my students with this "hands-on" experience will be a wonderful learning opportunity in STEM education, however, the budget for our STEM lab has been drastically cut this year. We grateful for the support and generosity from the Ðǿմ«Ã½.org Organization to help make these learning opportunities available to our students.
