Currently, my students are only allocated 15 minutes of music per week. To really experience music students need to be able to hold and use actual instruments. These students deserve the opportunity to make music with their own two hands. Our daily schedule contains time for music and movement. Currently, we do not have any musical instruments in our classroom to play with. I would like to have a variety of instruments for my students to make music.
I want my student to feel the pure joy of making music and carry that love with them always. They should be given the chance to interact with the real instruments in person.
