I am the physical education teacher at Francis W. Parker Montessori School 56. My school has students from pre kindergarten to 8th grade. The students at my school love playing basketball. Every grade level loves doing any activity that involves shooting or dribbling a basketball. We are in need of a basketball goal that can lower to heights for the younger students to practice. There are several students in lower grades that want play or practice basketball when they get a chance in gym class. These students need a goal that can adjust to the appropriate height for them to practice shooting and encourage them that they are progressing with their basketball skills. We only have to basketball goals at our school that stay at 10 feet. The basket is not the proper height to practice for students in lower grades trying to develop their basketball skills. We also need the new basketballs for when we host home basketball games.
