I am a special needs preschool teacher. My students range in age from 3-5 years old and have disabilities such as down syndrome, autism, significant developmental delays, and communication delays. For many this is their first experience with school. It is challenging to meet so many different needs, but so rewarding when you hear their first words or see them proud when they are able to name their first shape.
