As a college advisor at Carson Complex, serving Carson Senior High School, Academies of Education and Empowerment and Academy of Medical Arts, I am responsible for creating a college-going culture on campus. I directly provide college attainment support to 2,000+ high school students who are future first-generation college students, foster youth, undocumented students, and live in socioeconomically disadvantaged communities. Hosts college application workshops and motivational college presentations to 9th-12th grade students.
