My preschool students love to explore topics in science. They have dived into any topic involving science this year, and I would love to give them an area in our room to explore at their own pace during center time daily. My students have been fascinated with rainbows since we began studying them in mid-March. They have created rainbows in crafts, at the painting center, and have run into the room to tell me when they spotted a rare double rainbow during the weekend.
These materials will help my students explore the properties of light and colors, something near and dear to preschoolers' hearts!
The light table and manipulative kit will give my students an opportunity to play with the rainbow they love so much.
The materials also include letters, numbers, shapes, bugs, dominoes, and more; these will also give the students more exposure to language and mathematics in a fun new way. Play is the most important thing to a preschooler, so providing fun ways to learn is essential.
