In Life Science we explore...life. Students will examine the physical structures and functions of Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches compared to those of Harvester Ants and Fire Belly Toads. In examining their adaptations, students will understand how traits allow an animal to survive in their environment.
I want my students to understand and LOVE science! What better way to understand food chains and webs by directly observing them. Students will compare:
-differences and similarities in physical structures
-differences in habitat and ecosystems
-create a diagram, video, picture or essay explaining a food web including the organism of your choice.
-create a presentation explaining the behavior of the animal of your choice
