Students at my school come to the engineering lab every week, but for most of our students, this is their only exposure to engineering. We want our students to see themselves as future engineers, but to do this, we need materials so that students can apply the engineering design cycle to building.
By donating to this project, you will be providing students with a fun and engaging way to apply engineering concepts. Most of my students do not have LEGO at home, and they are extremely motivated to use them during engineering time! I plan to put up a LEGO wall for the older students and have DUPLO available for younger students so that all 300 of our students have access to a fun way to put engineering ideas into action!
