My students struggle with staying motivated and maintain their interests in projects. These Apple iPad mini's will help my students be able to do just that by providing new, interactive ways to learn while using apps and technology to create stories, collages of reports or topics, expand their vocabulary, and connect with the world as well as connect with each other. Replacing the paper/pencil/worksheets with the iPads will infuse creativity to experiment and amplify their learning. Having access to technology at all times is essential for my students because they are able to work on intervention programs geared to their literacy and mathematical levels as well class research projects and book reports.
