I have a classroom filled with 23 wiggly bodies every day that have a hard time just sitting still in their seat. I have incorporated a few options for flexible seating this year, but my students need more of a variety to move in their seat and it still be controlled. I have scoop chairs and soccer mom chairs which are really cool to sit in but don't meet my students' needs. The exercise balls and bouncy bands allow my students to meet their needs effectively and give efficient work daily!
My students need more choice and ways to wiggle around in their seats with bouncy bands, wobble stools, and wobble cushions!
One of the biggest things we have learned in education is that students need choice. By having multiple options of flexible seating in my classroom, instead of just a few, my students will come to school excited, ready to learn and be able to pick a seat that is best suited for them.
