The Sphero Bolt robot will give our students the opportunity to explore robotics and real-world computer science/programming activities. We are a small rural community with limited resources and our student population is in great need of the STEM activities that this project can provide to our Middle School students. The Sphero Bolt robots will allow our students to learn how to create logic-block programs and apply those programs in a hands-on, highly-responsive environment. These robots will give our rural students exposure/opportunities to STEM/programming activities that students in larger, urban school districts have more regular access to. We want our rural students to have technology experiences/learning that will open the doors to post-secondary education and technology-related future job/career paths
