New tables and chairs will allow student to collaborate easier with each other and with adults in the classroom. Kidney tables are great for small groups of 8 or larger groups. The unique seating allows kids to wiggle while working at the same time. We are realizing as classroom teacher that kids do not learn in traditional seating. The tables and seating will accommodate my busy learners along with updating our library to look inviting and colorful. As the new librarian I want to purpose of the library to change from not just a place to check out books but a place to come and collaborate with other students about what they have read.

About my class
