Research states that when gross motor skills are developed then language skills will increase! Children in my class are "at-risk" and are of low income status. Giving them the opportunity to ride a tricycle will develop their gross motor skills and help them increase their receptive and expressive language. My children will then be able to listen and focus on tasks, understand and follow directions, as well as express themselves using sentences of up to 6-10 word utterances. They will then be ready for kindergarten as this is one of the requirements! Help us "Up the Ante'! Provide this opportunity!
