Technology is key for ensuring my students are equipped for 21st Century learning. However, my students have no computers in their classroom. Access to Chromebooks will allow my students to engage in Literacy and Math activities and lessons. Websites such as Reading A to Z will help develop strong reading skills in order for students to become proficient readers and writers. My students will also go to websites like Zearn.org where they can participate in interactive math lessons and play fun games to help them learn.
Chromebooks personalize lessons because students are able to learn at their own pace and most importantly, they make learning fun! Using Chromebooks in class will prepare students to be successful when technology is a required part of learning and life.
