My students need a way to communicate between home and school. I am asking for daily agendas that will allow parents to see not only homework, but also the learning targets we are currently focusing on in class. It is also an effective way to communicate with parents positive things that their child is doing in school.
The requested whiteboards, erasers, and markers are an engaging tool for students during all instruction. They also provide a way for me to do a quick formative assessment of student learning. During our Daily 5 routines many students like to find a quiet spot around the classroom to write. The clipboards will allow them to write and work with a partner on revision and editing around the room.
