Hello! I am a 3rd Grade ELA teacher for the Buffalo Public Schools at the wonderful West Hertel Academy Public School #94! I teach 90 students with a HUGE VARIETY of needs. Student academic levels range from students that just entered the country with absolutely no English language to students who are working at grade level or further!Almost 50% of my students are English Language Learners from all over the world. My classroom is a little melting pot and my students and I have the opportunity to learn so much about different cultures from one another.
Free breakfast is supplied to every student and many students participate in a backpack program, bringing home food for the weekend. 100% of my students come from low income families and some are sent to school with no school supplies...but that won't stop my students from growing into successful, lifelong learners!
