Learning the letters of the alphabet is one of those skills that my students needs to prepare for kindergarten. For my project, I selected materials that will focus on letter recognition and letter sounds for my students to use at small and large group or independent. For technology, students can use the tablets, that will be store on the charge tablet station, to play games that focus on the letters of the alphabet and their sounds or listen to books on the CD player relating to the alphabet. To help students with recognizing the letters of the alphabet at small group or independent, students can use the letter construction, friendly letter match, alphabet books, alphabet locks, magnetic alphabet maze, and magnetic picture maze. To help students with letter sounds at small group or independent, students can use alphabet sound mystery box, alphabet rockets, and letter sound matching board.
