Children learn through play. Currently our students are limited in this area because we have no outdoor play area. We feel physical play is important for all children. It helps their muscle growth, balance and coordination. Our students love to play and explore, and having a safe, secure place to do so is very important.
Fostering creativity is a very crucial part in a child's learning. It helps with social, emotional, and fine motor skills. To be able to have all these art materials in our classroom allows the children to practice skills like patterning and being able to think critically on their own. When children create their own art they express themselves and build their own self confidence.
