In a community that does not have many people that can financially make a donation to projects, these items would make a huge impact in my school. Each year we reach out and ask for school supply donations and have yet to receive quite enough to fill that need.
Funding this College Signing Day would make an incredible difference in my seniors' finances because many will be on their own and unable to afford these once supplied items such as binders, tablets, notebooks, pencils and pens. Many students are already working multiple jobs to supplement their parent(s) income, and giving them materials before they leave for college will not only be encouraging, but will help lift the financial burden.
