Having sensory material such as sand, buckets, scoopers, mini fishing rods, magnetic letter and numbers give my students a chance to strengthen their small muscles. Using these different materials will help my students with their hand eye coordination while they are creating and exploring with the sand. Also, with the use of the requested materials my students will strengthen their knowledge of recognizing letters and numbers. My students learn best when they are learning with their hands. They enjoy working with sensory items and making real life connections. Having these sensory materials in my classroom available to my students will give them the chance to strengthen their knowledge with measurement and relationship building among students.
