I'm requesting eight copies of Algebra and Trigonometry: Graphs and Models. My students are mostly low-income and will be first-generation college students. In order to be able to take this class - which is both for college credit (4 hours) and a high school math credit - students will be required to have this textbook. Because it is a dual-credit course, our high school does not provide the textbook that the local university requires.
Math textbooks are incredibly expensive and I don't want the cost of the textbook to prohibit ANY student from enrolling in the course and getting college credit.
Without the help of donors, many students will not be able to take this class.
