My students are a curious and caring group of kindergarteners who work every day to grow their brains and help their classroom team succeed. They attend a large primary charter school in an urban school district in Illinois. A majority of the students in my class and school live in low income households. While the kids, their families, and our school operate as one team and family committed to seeing each student to and through college, finding the resources to help them get there can be challenging.
