Flexible seating is based on the idea that every student has a different learning style, and as the teacher I want to empower each student to choose which seat in our classroom best meets their needs.
I wish for my students to have a variety of seating options throughout the day so they are no longer tied to sitting on a chair at a desk while they learn. Desks would still be an option for those who prefer them but other options will include stools, carpet, carpet squares, swivel chairs, a couch, bean bags, and lap desks.
I look forward to the chance to tailor our classroom learning environment to meet the needs of my children.
