I hope to have a very warm, inviting and engaging Science Classroom this year that will give all of my students the opportunities they need to gain more knowledge about science. By incorporating a Science Library into my classroom, I hope students will grow a love for science and will maybe inspire the learner inside of them to want to pursue science further. My classroom library will be devoted mostly to science books so that each and every students can be exposed to as much science as possible.
"The important thing is to never stop questioning." - Albert Einstein
And that is exactly what science is and will always be. But, I want my students to not just question about science but about their lives and where they want to be as they continue their educational careers.
Science is an amazing thing and I just want to be able to share my love and passion of science with them by using books! If funded my project is going to be buying all kinds of science books from biographies of scientists to informational texts on science topics. Giving the students opportunities to read more about scientists and different concepts would allow them to further elaborate on what we will be learning this year in science.
