The 8th grade students I work with are being met with high demands to complete work in the digital age. Expectations for students beginning in 8th grade require them to compose thoughtful Science Lab Reports, Research papers, High School essays, and personal narratives. Many students lack the resources outside of school to print these assignments out. My goal is to give my students an option for them to complete assignments on time as well as enable to advocate for themselves. Many of my students end up missing assignments or waiting until the last second to print off work that needs to be turned in because they have limited access to printers at home or in school. This contributes to their overall stress within the day. My hope is to eliminate that stress as well as encourage them to plan for the future.
