My classroom only has 2 computers, and many of my students often want to work for computer time in my classroom. Having iPads in the room will allow them to be used as technological reinforcers, something that is highly motivating for my students. My students will also have access to academic games such as handwriting, ELA and Math games. Many of these skills are hard for my students, and using technology gets them excited and allows for them to connect with the content. Also, many of them do not have access to technology at home due to financial restrictions, so this will allow them to have those experiences as well.
