Having a wide variety of books at an appropriate reading level for my students will help foster their love for reading, and encourage them to grow as students. Giving access to more books will give my students the ability to broaden their choices when it comes to reading.
Having the right level of books can mean a world of difference for a child's growth in reading. Currently, most of my classroom library books are either really outdated or geared toward lower elementary levels. I want to provide my students with novels that will serve them well during their time with me.
