These Kindles would be good resources within my reading groups. The kids would be building their fluency by listening to audio books. Our school uses MyOn which has audio books that the students get to choose. It is a lot like Netflix but with books! The books they choose are on their level and are what they are interested in. I will also use the Kindles to incorporate websites and apps into my reading groups that will help them work on their spelling and vocabulary. With all the technology surrounding us in the world today, these Kindles would ignite their love of reading by making it fun for them.
