With a few plastic tablecloths and work with the librarian, we transformed our classroom into a Book Cafe! The desks and chairs are attached but my students were willing to climb around and get settled for reading and treats! A flexible seating classroom would offer all learners a way to settle in with a good book and write for longer periods of time.
