Students with visual impairments need to have learning areas clearly marked or labeled for effective learning. Having two rugs in the classroom would make it easier for them to move within the classroom and have a space that is familiar and clearly marked for specific learning activities like circle time and library area.
Our students are learning to mobilize and orient themselves around the community.
In order for them to orient themselves within the community, they need all of the support from their teachers. Having a wagon would give the teachers additional help during field trips to store our student's diapers, wipes, snacks, and waters so that we can focus on our students and their safety.
