I teach Head Start, in the Sunnyslope Community, in Phoenix, Arizona. My school is a PreK-8, public school, with 100 percent of our students on free lunch. We have a high demographic of second language learners and immigrants. Many of our students have witnessed violence, drug abuse, and are living in poverty.
