In order to reinforce their learning, my students need Chromebooks. Due to their mobility, Chromebooks would allow my students to have a variety of resources right at their fingertips. These computers will also give my students the chance to practice their keyboarding skills, so they are better prepared for the Smarter Balance tests that will begin later in the school year.
Chromebooks will allow me to engage my students through collaborative projects and provide another way for them to communicate with both their peers and myself; with learning tools such as Google Classroom and Edmodo. With technology there are often a variety of issues. These issues provide students with opportunities to problem solve and persevere through technological glitches. Because these students are growing up in a technological generation it is unfair that these they only have access to 3 working desktop computers in the classroom.
