Benjamin Franklin said, "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn". Students will definitely be involved and learning as they work in teams to research, construct, and write about world-famous city skylines. Imagine their excitement as they "visit" San Francisco, London, New York, Paris, Chicago, Sydney, and Shanghai. They will prepare a multi-media presentation to share their projects with other classes. Help me give my students LEGO skyline kits from around the world; they will be engaged while learning about the amazing architecture and history of the cities. Students will be able to travel the world and explore the architecture of faraway cities. By donating to this project, you will help my students hone their research skills, learn about architectural design, and broaden their knowledge of the world around them.
