Libraries should be a welcoming and safe space where students get excited to visit. Students love to have a cozy place to read and the bean bag chairs add a certain level of excitement to the library. Space needs to be inviting and comfy! In addition, we need to be able to communicate and plan our broadcast announcements. Last but not least part of creating an accessible library includes having books clearly labeled and easy to identify their location. The DYMO Label Maker would allow our books to have genre labels, clear spine labels, and library cards for students to be able to easily self-checkout their books. Our library is an open concept layout and creating a unique but inviting space is my goal. The library environment needs to be inviting and cozy! Help me welcome students to our library with updated furniture!
