The children in my class are diverse learners with a variety of different needs.
Bouncy Bands, stability disks, and stability ball chairs are all tools to help students who have a difficult time sitting still and completing tasks. By allowing their bodies to move in a productive manner, both their physical and learning needs can be better served.
Bouncy Bands and stability sitting seats will provide students with a safe and quiet outlet to move their body and release their energy while keeping their minds focused.
My goal is to have a bouncy band and a stability disk for the chairs of the students who need it. The stability chairs will only be for students who need this extra support and for whom the product is a "good fit."
When a student's physical need to move can be met, their brain is freed up to be more engaged and wholly focused on the learning task at hand!
