We are looking to enhance our outdoor play space with sensory tables. We want to provide the children with rich and meaningful experiences while outdoors. The children enjoy engaging in pretend play and the materials will give them many exploration opportunities. They will strengthen their problem solving, fine-motor, and cooperative play skills as they manipulate the materials.
The children will also build science related skills such as: observation, classification, experimentation, prediction, drawing conclusions, and communicating idea as they play with the materials in the sensory tables. The teachers will be able to extend the children's play to outdoors with the help of this project!
