Unfortunately, a lot of my students don't have access to technology or the internet at home, and our accessibility to technology in the classroom is greatly limited. We lose out on the ability to build 21st century skills and become College and Career ready during our school day.
By having Chromebooks in the classroom, you will be giving the opportunity for my students to access online resources and further their knowledge of science and social studies beyond the classroom.
Students will be able to explore and make connections to these topics and become stronger learners. Sixth grade is such an important grade to inspire students to follow their dreams. Having Chromebooks in the classroom will further their knowledge of 21st Century skills, while also making connections to our content. Sixth graders love technology and the opportunity to explore the world beyond the classroom.
