My students are a diverse group and collectively they are all learning in another language, whether is is English or Spanish. My classroom library lacks funding and resources in Spanish. Many of the books in my library are old and outdated and my students show no interest. I want to continue to foster their creativeness of learning another language in meaningful texts. These texts will be a great asset in my Spanish classroom library. They will be used as author studies, reading interventions, and fictional lesson plans. I need to provide them the resources they need to be successful in our dual language program and I need you help in doing so!
