These materials will make a difference in my students learning because it will increase their interest in reading. My students engage and enjoy story time but I would like for them to began reading independently. I hope this center will spark their imagination because it will provide a center in which they can relax and listen to audio books. I can provide books in which they can follow along with the pictures and make connections with words they already know. I believe that reading is fundamental in a students learning because it helps them comprehend in order to answer questions and draw conclusions about different stories and different situations they learn about during reading. When reading independently students learn new things about different animals, people and places from all around the world and they can draw from this information when engaging in conversations with their peers and teachers.
