The materials I'm requesting will help not only this years students, but students for years to come. We will use these materials during learning centers every single day. I want my students to have options in what they choose to use every day. These objects help students use their imaginations, as well as build their vocabulary. They will have more to talk about and more to learn with. Because many of my students are English Language Learners, it's important to me that they build their vocabulary and their ability to have social interactions with their peers.
These things are fun; they're special; and they're everything my students deserve to have in their home away from home. I want my students to be excited to come to school, knowing they have the supplies they'll need to build on their knowledge and be successful.
Blocks, dinosaurs, and animals are all things that my students can use their imaginations to play with, and to build houses and farms around. They can imagine, prep, and plan. The puzzles will also help students plan ahead and think through what their next step is, and learn to work together.
