My kindergartners deserve to come into a classroom that is bright, cheerful and makes them feel comfortable. Many of my students have difficult home lives. School is their only break from the struggles they face at home.
Despite the struggles they face, my students come to school with smiles on their faces and are always eager to learn. I want them to have the best possible experiences when they are in my care. I strive to keep my classroom environment warm and welcoming.
Currently, my students sit on very old carpeting with rows of colored duct tape. Having this rug will excite my students and make them feel like they are in the best classroom ever! It will motivate them to sit and listen to stories and learn each morning when we meet on the rug. Your donation would mean a lot to me, and even more to the young children that will learn on it.
