This year, I taught my middle-schoolers Shakespeare for the first time. They learned why Shakespeare is still relevant, why he's fun, and that they can do hard things. They were required to participate in a Shakespeare Readers' Theater, bringing the Bard's work to life. They did an amazing job, but they did it off of photocopies.
My students need physical, sturdy scripts in their hands to make more sense of the language of Shakespeare.
I want to get class sets of No Fear Shakespeare for all 4 of the classes I teach. Your help will bring Shakespeare into the lives of children in a tiny Idaho town and find a huge world of literature and life waiting for them.
