I chose to focus on mainly on creating a love of writing and incentives along the way! The students will learn to research this year. As a culminating activity,we will use the Who Would Win series to write their own WHO WOULD WIN book to include non-fiction text features, informational text, and a fictional narrative of the animals they chose. The students will love having an actual book to create their work. The incentives for the treasure box are much needed to keep their motivation and enthusiasm as well as a reward for their good choices.
