I will be moving to 5th grade with my 4th grade students from this school year. I am so excited to teach them for the second year. My students asked if we can read more novels in 5th grade. I've decided to read Wonder for our first novel. We will complete a project on the book when we finish reading the book. My students reading and writing scores increase after we started using close reading for each chapter. My students really changed how i teach reading.
