I currently teach at a low-income school where 3/4ths of our student body receive free and reduced lunch services. Because of this, my students often come to school without the supplies they need and it falls to me and the school to supply what the students need. Unfortunately, my classroom budget is not enough for this.
In the past two years I have taught 3rd grade, 4th grade, and I am now looping up with my students for the third year to teach 5th grade. Over these past two years together, I have gotten to know my students and how they learn really well. My students need the chance to move and express themselves while they learn so that they can reach their true potential.
