Students will use the computers to create a cross-curricular presentation on the environmental impacts of traditional "worksheet driven" classrooms. Students will learn about the environmental cost of manufacturing paper products as well as ways to reduce the amount of waste that enters our area landfills.
Students will research credible sources using World Book Online and collaborate with their peers using Google Docs while refining their writing skills and practicing good digital citizenship.
Additionally, students will be able to use these computers to submit assignments digitally, practice sight-words, access on-line learning programs and connect with other students from across the globe. These computers will reduce the environmental impact of our classroom for years to come.
