My kids don't have access to many if any resources outside of school. I want to provide them with these magazines to give them as close to real life experiences as I can. I want the best for my kids and our kids come from low income homes. I feel if they are provided access to these materials it will help them with reading levels and make them want to read and learn. Time magazine for Kids and the weekly reader will allow me them to see, experience, and learn about things outside of their hometown. The science spin will be used in connection with the others to teach them some great science skills. We will use them for group work and individual activities within the classroom. They will build vocabulary for them to use in kindergarten and as they progress through other grades.
