My 6th graders are energetic, fun, hard-working, and passionate. They are truly inspirational. In 2016 we suffered from a devastating flood that impacted 90% of our community. So many lost homes, vehicles, schools, and personal belongings including myself and a great deal of my students. Through all change due to loss, displacement, and going to school in temporary buildings, the students showed true perseverance. They maintained positive attitudes and focused on all the positive in their lives. My 6th graders are so deserving of an amazing, inspirational classroom that matches their brilliance, strength, and character.
