The subscription to Storyworks will open up so many different reading options for my students. They will receive fiction, non-fiction, debate, drama, paired text, poetry, and word power each time they open one of these magazines. They will be exposed to all the different types of articles that interest them and are designed to meet the common core standards.
The magazine exposes students to short, interesting articles about relevant topics that keep them engaged and culturally connected. Students will get so much from each issue!
These magazines will cover so many standards within our curriculum and will do it in a meaningful way that the students will enjoy. My goal is to foster the development of students that become lifelong readers.
