I teach in one of America's favorite cities-Chicago! I have 32 wonderful children who come from various backgrounds. Although my students are mostly Latino/a, each of their backgrounds is unique. Many travel to Mexico to visit close relatives several times a year. Some are able to vacation at the "touristy" spots of their native country, while others have never been to their homeland.
The last 2 years I have been blessed with not only wonderful students, but wonderful parents too! Big surprise, huh? I have taught in many schools, and have had many students. The students at my school are by far the most loving, caring, and invested students that I have been able to have the pleasure of teaching.
Our classroom is full of books, posters, and the desire to learn. It is not perfect, but it is our second home for the school year! It is my goal to make it the best I can for my students. And I need YOUR help in doing so!
